(132) A Full Day

Today has been non-stop...But so much has been done.

Around 9:45 Erin and I started moving stuff  into her new apartment.

We made multiple trips to and from her car and to and from her house and apt.

Around 4 we went back to her house to get ready for Glee Live

we headed to LA and got some food before we went to the concert.

We ate at a food network recommended restaurant that happened to be in a sketch area

But it was a really neat place

Next we headed for staples center

-chose not to park in the lot and found a cheaper place on the street. (valet parking)

I have so many photos, but i will just share a few (or way more than a few)

(106) Day and Night

This morning i slept in til 7am...impressive right. Ok not so much, but it was really nice not to get up at 6am.

Outfit #1:for school

At school:

-my first class got out early as usual

-during my break i formated a project that is due on wednesday...i hadn't even started it

Well, now it's started. I still have all of the writing portion to do.

-My other class got out a little early too. But it didn't help me out much. I had to wait around for the bus for about 20 minutes. Oh well.

Home:

ate a small snack

Put together and gathered things for my parent project presentation.

showered

got dressed

relaxed and tried not to stress

Out:

went to the general mtg. with mom

did my presentation. It seemed to go well.

Bought Carl's jr on the way home: Santa Fe chicken sandwich

changed into PJs

ate dinner

(100) Successful 100th day

Wow I can't believe i have been doing this blog for 100 days. 

Now there are just 400 more to go.

Today was so productive. And im not even being sarcastic. I avoided distractions and stayed focused on finishing my paper.

I worked on it before class, after class, and between classes. It was done being written at 12:30. I read through it to check for errors. Afterwards i went to class. As soon as i got home i edited my citations. (i wanted to make sure they were done properly) By the time the paper was complete it was 9 full pages of text. I believe it was the longest paper i have wrote.

It was such a relief to have it done and know that i wouldn't be stressing about it while at work or frantically writing til the wee hours of the morning.

Once the paper was completed i printed it out and then sat on the couch and relaxed. I ate tacos around 4:30 before i went to work.

I was gone from 5pm-12:20am

A long night but well worth it.

I made decent money and had an enjoyable night.

Now i am going to sleep and know that i will sleep well because a stressor has been eliminated. I love having things done ahead of time...even if it isn't even that early.

(99) Productive Monday

I am going to try to stay productive and not spend too much time on this blog.

Morning

*Picked up my stuff from around the house...cleaning ladies came today

*skimmed through my articles and started highlighting important info for the paper

*got out of class and continued research and writing my paper

Afternoon

class

*volunteered....2-4pm....it was such a wonderful afternoon. Some of the people remembered me and were happy to see me again.

*Home and immediately got to work on my paper.

*Ate dinner......left over steak 

*Got back to work on the paper

Night

*the paper writing continued

*at 10pm i had 5 pages done, so i have 3 more to go. 

*I am taking my articles up to my room so that i can lay in bed and continue being productive and then fall asleep whenever i get tired enough.

*Tomorrow i will finish the last 3 pages. But i must say, I am feeling pretty good about being productive.

(i even fit in some background tv time)

(83) Productive friday

Today i was planning to observe at the preschool on campus. I got there early so i grabbed something to eat and hung out in the lounge until 9am.

I went to the building and found out the center was having an open house. No kids were there to observe. FAIL. So i waited around until 10am when class was going to start. I went to the earlier class instead of going at 2pm.

I got out of class at 12 and went to the gym for 30 minutes.

around 1 mom came and picked me up on her way home from work. Instead of going straight home i decided it would be a good idea to run some errands.

I went to the credit union and closed my account-i didn't use it anymore.

me and mom went to lunch and i got to enjoy a slice of strawberry pie-my favorite.

We stopped by the house so that i could pick up money to be deposited.

We went to the bank and i ended up depositing over $4,000. I've been holding out on myself.

around 4 i laid down on the couch and fell asleep. I didn't wake up until 7:30. Clearly its been an exhausting week. 

At 8pm the whole family gathered up baskets of dirty laundry and went to the laundromat.

We ended up using 10 washers and 3 huge dryers to get the laundry done. We finished around 9:45- all of the laundry was folded and in baskets for each person. 

I spent the rest of the night hanging out with my parents and Velcro.

I ended my night by YouTubing new zealand videos and watching ones on the different places im going and activities i will get to do.

(60) Satisfaction

You know those days when you get home and your legs ache, your feet are throbbing, and your eyes are struggling to stay open? 

That is me right now and somehow it feels great. To me it means i worked hard and this is my body's way of telling me congratulations. I think it is so satisfying. Maybe i like this feeling cause it means i didn't sit on my butt all day being lazy. Well whatever it means, i like it and it should probably happen more often.

Today included:

-studying for my midterm

-going to class-we had a guest lecturer (always a plus in Mr. Mutton chop's, aka monotone's, class)

-reading for my midterm

-took my midterm. I think it went well. 

-bus ride home

-laundry (i needed clean jeans for work)

-glee

-throw jeans in the dryer and hope they were done in 50 min.

-ate a small "dinner"-it barely counted

-caught up on emails, computer stuff, etc.

-got ready for work

-pulled my jeans out of the dryer- only slightly damp (could have been much worse)

-got dressed

-worked for 4:30-11:30

-Got home at 11:45

So now i am going to wash my face and hit the hay.

I get to sleep in tomorrow morning. Meaning i dont have to wake up until 7am. It's really sad when 7 is sleeping in. Well, i'll take what i can get.
